HomeMy Public PortalAbout09378 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9378 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Two Hundred Forty-two Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($1,242,400.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary and storm sewers in PB-03 Des Peres to Frederick Lane Sanitary Relief Phase II and Channel Improvement Phase I (91102), in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri; and confirming a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary and storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary and storm sewers is One Million Seventy-seven Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-two Dollars ($1,077,992.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs and allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred Sixty-four Thousand Four Hundred Eight Dollars ($164,408.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Two Hundred Forty-two Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($1,242,400.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in PB-03 Des Peres to Frederick Lane Sanitary Relief Phase II and Channel Improvement Phase I (91102), in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary and storm sewers in PB-03 Des Peres to Frederick Lane Sanitary Relief Phase II and Channel Improvement Phase I (91102), in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 19th day of September, 1994 and formally executed on the 11th day of October, 1994 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 1994.
