AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Twenty-two Thousand
Dollars ($822,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for
the construction of sanitary sewers in Dutch Mill-Pinrun Sanitary Relief
(86021), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with
Gershenson Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of aforesaid sanitary
sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is
Six Hundred Eighty-three Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-four Dollars
($683,474.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement costs and allowance for construction change
orders is One Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-six Dollars
($138,526.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Twenty-two Thousand Dollars
($822,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for
project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Dutch Mill-Pinrun
Sanitary Relief (86021), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director
to Gershenson Construction Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the

construction of sanitary sewers in Dutch Mill-Pinrun Sanitary Relief (86021),
in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 28th day of September, 1994 and
formally executed on the 11th day of October, 1994 by said contractor and by
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is
hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 1994.
