HomeMy Public PortalAbout09387 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9387 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Forty-six Thousand Dollars ($446,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in PB-05 Deer Creek to Des Peres Drive Sanitary Relief (90072), in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri; and confirming a contract with JRW Construction Company for the construction of aforesaid sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Four Hundred Twenty-four Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-six and 95/100 Dollars ($424,686.95), and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-one Thousand Three Hundred Thirteen and 05/100 Dollars ($21,313.05), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Forty-six Thousand Dollars ($446,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in PB-05 Deer Creek to Des Peres Drive Sanitary Relief (90072), in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to JRW Construction Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in PB-05 Deer Creek to Des Peres Drive Sanitary Relief (90072), in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 17th day of October, 1994 and formally executed on the 8th day of November, 1994 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 1994.
