At the Brewster Town Office Building (Room B)
Present:
Cynthia Eldredge; Freddie O'Neal; Karen Halloran; Tony Dalmau; Lisa Vitale & Jillian
Douglass
Jillian Douglass explained the legislative changes introduced by the Municipal Health
Care Reform Act and introduced the concept of Plan Design Changes.
Lisa Vitale explained the Town's position as a member of the CCMH Group and
explained the direction that the Group is heading. It was stressed that the Board of
Selectmen have not yet voted to proceed with the design changes, but indicated that it is
expected that issue will be addressed by the Board in December and notice will need to
be circulated 48 hours in advance of that meeting.
Karen Halloran nominated James Ehrhart to act as the IAC's Chairman and primary point
of contact. Cynthia Eldredge seconded the motion and the vote was unanimously in
favor.
Lisa Vitale stated that she would circulate the summary of Benefit information to the IAC
members as soon as she had the corrected versions
The meeting was adjourned with no "next meeting date" set.
