AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-five Thousand Dollars
($55,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction
of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repair #072 (Wicklow and Whitehall) 93028,
in the City of Manchester, Missouri; and confirming a contract with JHB
Contracting Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary
sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is
Forty-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-eight Dollars ($49,968.00),, and the
allowance for construction change orders is Five Thousand Thirty-two Dollars
($5,032.000, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-five Thousand Dollars ($55,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for
the construction of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repair #072 (Wicklow and
Whitehall) 93028, in the City of Manchester, Missouri
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director
to JHB Contracting Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repair #072 (Wicklow and
Whitehall) 93028, in the City of Manchester, Missouri, with The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 10th day
of November, 1994 and formally executed on the 7th day of December, 1994 by
said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf
of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the
Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 8, 1994.
