HomeMy Public PortalAbout09425 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9425 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Sixty-four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($264,500.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Carolynne Sanitary Relief Phase I (93020), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the construction of aforesaid sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Two Hundred Fifty-one Thousand Forty-three and 50/100 Dollars ($251,043.50), and the allowance for construction change orders is Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-six and 50/100 Dollars ($13,456.50), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Sixty-four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($264,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Carolynne Sanitary Relief Phase I (93020), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Carolynne Sanitary Relief Phase I (93020), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th day of November, 1994 and formally executed on the 7th day of December, 1994 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 8, 1994.
