AN ORDINANCE, vacating any right, title or interest of the District
in a portion of the forty foot (40') wide right-of-way of Dohack Lane, a
roadway dedicated for public use in a tract of land being part of Block 24 of
Carondelet Commons South of the River des Peres located in Township 44 North,
Range 6 East, St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of this land has requested that this District
vacate any right, title or interest that it may have in the subject roadway,
and this District has no further use for said roadway,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District hereby
vacates any right, title or interest that it may have in the following
described roadway:
Beginning at the southeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to Fey
Funeral Home, Inc. as recorded in Book 7648, Page 2240 of the St.
Louis County Records, said point also being on the Northwesterly
line of Dohack Lane; thence South 53 degrees 39 minutes 00 seconds
East 40.00 feet to a point on the Southeasterly line of Dohack
Lane; thence South 35 degrees 39 minutes 00 seconds West along the
said Southeasterly line of Dohack Lane 276.56 feet to a point on
the Northerly line of Interstate I-255 as conveyed to the State of
Missouri as recorded in Book 5289, Page 529 of said Records; thence
North 44 degrees 19 minutes 42 seconds West along the Northerly
line of said Interstate I-255, 40.62 feet to a point on the
Northwesterly line of said Dohack Lane; thence North 35 degrees 39
minutes 00 seconds East, along the said Northerly line of Dohack
Lane 269.98 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 8, 1994.
