HomeMy Public PortalAbout09476 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9476 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Eighty-three Thousand Dollars ($483,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in East Concord Interceptor Relief Phase IIB (95034), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with JHB Contracting Company, Inc. for the aforesaid construction, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid sanitary sewers is Four Hundred Fifty-nine Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($459,300.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($23,700.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Eighty-three Thousand Dollars ($483,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund is hereby appropriated to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in East Concord Interceptor Relief Phase IIB (95034), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to JHB Contracting Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in East Concord Interceptor Relief Phase IIB (95034), in St. Louis County, Missouri, within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 3rd day of February, 1995 and formally executed on the 8th day of February, 1995 by said contractor and 2 by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 9, 1995.
