AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-one Thousand Two Hundred Seventy
Dollars ($51,270.00) from the Improvement Fund to pay the State of Missouri's
share of the total costs for the construction of storm sewers in Nettle Creek
Phase III Stormwater Project (P-19428), in Town & Country, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project was undertaken by the City of Town & Country,
Missouri at an estimated total cost of One Hundred Fifty-three Thousand Eight
Hundred Ten Dollars ($153,810.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Fifty-one
Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Dollars ($51,270.00) toward the total costs of
said project, and will deposit said amount with the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-one Thousand Two Hundred Seventy
Dollars ($51,270.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to pay
the State of Missouri's share of the total costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Nettle Creek Phase III Stormwater Project (P-19428), in Town &
Country, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 9, 1995.
