AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Forty Thousand
Dollars ($1,040,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement
Trust Fund for construction phase services for the Bissell Point
Secondary Treatment Project Plant Improvements; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1
to Contract E-802 with Sverdrup Corporation for the aforesaid
professional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9203, adopted May 11, 1994
appropriated the initial funding for the project, and
WHEREAS, the estimated fee for the services is Nine
Hundred Ninety-four Thousand One Hundred Sixty Dollars
($994,160.00) and the allowance for changes in scope is Forty-five
Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Dollars ($45,840.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient
to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Forty Thousand
Dollars ($1,040,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water
Capital Improvement Trust Fund for construction phase services for
the Bissell Point Secondary Treatment Project Plant Improvements.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-
802 with Sverdrup Corporation for construction phase services for
the Bissell Point Secondary Treatment Project Plant Improvements;
said amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 9, 1995.
