HomeMy Public PortalAbout09511 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9511 AN ORDINANCE, vacating a portion of a 10 foot (10') sewer easement as recorded in the St. Louis County Records in Deed Book 7491, Page 1621, and being part of Lot 7 of "EPHRIAM BARBER ESTATE" in Section 36, Township 45 North, Range 3 East, St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested this District to vacate the portion of subject easement, and this District has no further use for said portion, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The following described portion of a ten foot (10') wide sewer easement is hereby vacated, to wit: Commencing at an old disk monument marking the West Corner of Section 36 and being an angle point in the East line of Shepard Road, 40 feet wide; thence Northerly along the East line of Shepard Road North 02o45'24" East 66.92 feet to a point; thence continuing along said East line of Shepard Road North 02o45'24" East 383.73 feet and North 03o29'23" West 310.44 feet to a point in the West line of Section 36; thence Northerly along both the West line of Section 36 and the East line of Shepard Road North 00o12'34" East 150.00 feet; thence leaving said West line of Section 36 along the East and South lines of Shepard Road the following courses and distances: North 16o41'40" East 64.71 feet; North 33o03'34" East 19.76 feet; North 58o16'25" East 47.52 feet; North 80o37'34" East 41.87 feet; South 89o54'26" East 308.93 feet; South 84o53'26" East 292.11 feet; North 73o23'34" East 61.32 feet; North 52o23'34" East 80.17 feet; and North 38o48'55" East 331.44 feet to a point in the South line of "SHEPARD VALLEY SUBDIVISION" (Plat Book 178, Pages 92 & 93); thence Easterly along said South line South 89o22'15" East 132.34 feet to a point; thence leaving said South line along the centerline of an existing 2 easement granted to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District per Deed Book 7491, Page 1621 the following courses and distances: South 07o36'05: East 58.41 feet; South 27o25'43" West 303.89 feet and South 69o24'03" West 155.02 feet to the actual POINT OF BEGINNING of the portion of said existing 10 foot wide easement to be vacated, the centerline of which is as described as follows: South 85o39'07" West 352.83 feet; North 79o13'40" West 170.33 feet; North 87o14'52" West 245.28 feet; South 41o59'32" West 146.37 feet to a point of ending at an existing angle point in the centerline of said 10 foot wide easement per Deed Book 7491, Page 1621. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 9, 1995.
