AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Seven Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,700,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
for engineering services for the Lemay Service Area Overflow
Regulation System, and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer to enter into Amendment No. 4 to Contract E-778
with Black & Veatch for said engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8926, adopted March 10, 1993,
Ordinance No. 9081, adopted September 8, 1993, Ordinance No. 9240,
adopted June 8, 1994, and Ordinance No. 9466, adopted January 12,
1995, respectively provided the initial funding for and authorized
Contract E-778 and Amendment Nos. 1, 2 and 3, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Seven Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,700,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the Lemay
Service Area Overflow Regulation System.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into Amendment No. 4 to
Contract E-778 with Black & Veatch for engineering services for the
Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System; said amendment to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 1995.
