HomeMy Public PortalAbout09518 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9518 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating of Six Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($610,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the design of the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Sewer Replacement and Rehabilitation (94064); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer to enter into Amendment No. 4 to Contract E-777 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for the aforesaid additional services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8925, adopted March 10, 1993, Ordinance No. 9080, adopted September 8, 1993, Ordinance No. 9239, adopted June 8, 1994, and Ordinance No. 9381, adopted November 9, 1994 provided the funding for and authorized Contract E-777, Amendment Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively, and WHEREAS, the estimated fee for the services is Five Hundred Eighty-two Thousand Six Hundred Forty-one Dollars ($582,641.00) and the allowance for changes in scope is Twenty Seven Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-nine Dollars ($27,359.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($610,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the design of the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Sewer Replacement and Rehabilitation (94064). Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into Amendment No. 4 to Contract E-777 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for engineering services for the design of the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Sewer Replacement and Rehabilitation (94064); said amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 1995.
