AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for construction
phase services for the Lemay Treatment Plant Phase I Odor Controls;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment No. 3 to Contract E-775 with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for the
aforesaid professional engineering services.
WHEREAS, the estimated fee for the services is Ninety-one
Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($91,450.00) and the allowance
for changes in scope is Eight Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars
($8,550.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient
to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for construction phase services for the Lemay Treatment Plant
Phase I Odor Controls.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 3 to Contract E-
775 with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for construction phase services for
the Lemay Treatment Plant Phase I Odor Controls; said amendment to
be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 1995.
