HomeMy Public PortalAbout09524 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9524 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Emergency Repair #029 LC-3 Lemay Creek Force Main (95064), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Condaire, Inc., for the construction of the aforesaid project, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said project is Eight Hundred Thirty-four Thousand Nine Hundred Seventeen and 45/100 Dollars ($834,917.45), and the allowance for preparatory repair work and construction change orders is Sixty-five Thousand Eighty-two and 55/100 Dollars ($65,082.55), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Emergency Repair #029 LC-3 Lemay Creek Force Main (95064), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Condaire, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of Emergency Repair #029, LC-3, Lemay Creek Force Main (95064) in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 17th day of April, 1995 and formally executed on the 19th day of April, 1995 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 1995.
