AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Thousand Nine Hundred
Seventy-one and 45/100 Dollars ($6,971.45) from the Improvement
Fund to be used for the construction of sanitary sewers, together
with repayment of expenses incurred by the District in connection
with such construction project known as Milburn 600' South of
Yaeger P-20112, in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, participating real property owner in such
project has paid to the District Six Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-
one and 45/100 Dollars ($6,971.45) for the total costs of said
project, and have contracted with Kelpe Contracting, Inc. to
install a certain sewer system within and for such Subdistrict, and
WHEREAS, upon satisfactory completion of such project,
the District is to pay over to such contractor from such funds, its
installation cost; retain in its Improvement Fund its incurred
expenses, for engineering, survey and inspection, construction
staking, easement charges, and allowance for construction change
orders, and return any unexpended balance to the contributors
thereof, pro rata,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Thousand Nine Hundred
Seventy-one and 45/100 Dollars ($6,971.45) is hereby appropriated
from the Improvement Fund to be used for the construction of
sanitary sewers, together with repayment of expenses incurred by
the District in connection with such construction project known as
Milburn 600' South of Yaeger P-20112, in St. Louis County,
Missouri, and any unused portion thereof shall be returned to the
contributors pro rata.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 1995.
