AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-seven Thousand Forty-
six Dollars ($37,046.00) from the Improvement Fund to pay the State
of Missouri's share of the total costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Thorndell Channel Improvement Project (P-19778), in
the City of Richmond Heights, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project was undertaken by the City of
Richmond Heights, Missouri at an estimated total cost of One
Hundred Eleven Thousand One Hundred Thirty-nine Dollars
($111,139.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Thirty-seven Thousand Forty-six Dollars ($37,046.00) toward the
total costs of said project, and will deposit said amount with the
District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-seven Thousand Forty-six
Dollars ($37,046.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement
Fund to pay the State of Missouri's share of the total costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Thorndell Channel Improvement
Project (P-19778), in the City of Richmond Heights, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 1995.
