Home My Public Portal About09533 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9533 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of rock fill slope protection and storm sewers in Infrastructure Repair #113 (Apple Blossom Court) 94019, in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Bangert Brothers Construction Company for the aforesaid construction, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said rock fill slope protection and storm sewers is Two Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Dollars ($285,430.00) and the allowance for construction change orders is Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Dollars ($14,570.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of rock fill slope protection and storm sewers in Infrastructure Repair #113 (Apple Blossom Court) 94019, in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Bangert Brothers Construction Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of rock fill slope protection and storm sewers in Infrastructure Repair #113 (Apple Blossom Court) 94019, in the City of Florissant, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 5th day of April, 1995 and formally executed on the 19th day of April 1995 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 1995.
