HomeMy Public PortalAbout09566 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9566 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Landscaping Improvements, Landscape Planting (BP-13C1, 95054) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Hillside Gardens and Nurseries, for the aforesaid project, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for said project is Forty-nine Thousand One Hundred Forty-two Dollars ($49,142.00), and the allowance for preparatory work and change orders is Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-eight Dollars ($10,858.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Landscaping Improvements, Landscape Planting (BP- 13C1, 95054) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the 2 Executive Director to Hillside Gardens and Nurseries, as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of Landscaping Improvements, Landscape Planting (BP-13C1, 95054) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 28th day of April, 1995 and formally executed on the 10th day of May, 1995 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 11, 1995.
