AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Nine
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000.00) from the General Fund of the
District; and transferring said sum to the Maintenance Department's
100 Account, to be used for increased overtime costs due to the
recent storm events and flooding, for the remainder of the 1994-95
fiscal year.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9201, adopted May 11, 1994,
appropriated the initial funding for the Maintenance Department's
100 Account, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars
($900,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District; and said sum is hereby transferred to the Maintenance
Department's 100 Account, to be used for increased overtime costs
due to the recent storm events and flooding, for the remainder of
the 1994-95 fiscal year.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 8, 1995.
