HomeMy Public PortalAbout09608 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9608 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($565,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur-Frontenac to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Alden and Chilton Lane Channel Improvement (90263), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Five Hundred Thirty-six Thousand One Hundred Thirty Dollars ($536,130.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-eight Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy Dollars ($28,870.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($565,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur- Frontenac to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Alden and Chilton Lane Channel Improvement (90263), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Alden and Chilton Lane Channel Improvement (90263), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 1st day of June, 1995. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 13, 1995.
