HomeMy Public PortalAbout09632 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9632 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($230,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund for construction phase services for the Bissell Point Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Pump Station Modifications; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract E-802 with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for the aforesaid professional engineering services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9203, adopted May 11, 1994 appropriated the initial funding for the project, and WHEREAS, the estimated fee for the services is Two Hundred Twenty-one Thousand Five Hundred Eight Dollars ($221,508.00) and the allowance for changes in scope is Eight Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-two Dollars ($8,492.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($230,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund for construction phase services for the Bissell Point Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Pump Station Modifications. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract E- 802 with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for construction phase services for the Bissell Point Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Pump Station Modifications; said amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1995.
