AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($320,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
engineering services for the design of the Repair and Replacement
of Sewer Systems in City Parks (95060); and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-825
with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, the estimated fee for said engineering services
is Three Hundred Six Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-eight Dollars
($306,668.00) and the allowance for changes in scope is Thirteen
Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-two Dollars ($13,332.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($320,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for engineering services for the design of the
Repair and Replacement of Sewer Systems in City Parks (95060).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-825 with Horner &
Shifrin, Inc. for engineering services for the design of the Repair
and Replacement of Sewer Systems in City Parks (95060); said
contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1995.
