AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Four Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($4,400,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay
Service Area ORS Lower River des Peres Lining of Sewers with
Shotcrete (L-03A, 93038A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with C. Rallo Contracting, Inc. for the aforesaid
construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Lower River
des Peres Shotcrete Lining is Four Million One Hundred Thirty-one
Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-nine Dollars ($4,131,989.00) and the
allowance for change orders is Two Hundred Sixty-eight Thousand
Eleven Dollars ($268,011.00), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Million Four Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($4,400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Lower River des Peres
Lining of Sewers with Shotcrete (L-03A, 93038A), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with C. Rallo
Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Lower River des Peres
Lining of Sewers with Shotcrete (L-03A, 93038A), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 29th
day of June, 1995.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1995.
