AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of One Million Two
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000.00), from the Clean Water
Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation
System Baden and Mill Creek Pump Stations Electrical Gear
Replacement (BP-014A, 94089A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Power Distribution Services, Inc. for the aforesaid
construction,
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Baden and
Mill Creek Pump Stations Electrical Gear Replacement is One Million
Ninety-six Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-two Dollars
($1,096,322.00) and the allowance for change orders is One Hundred
Three Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-eight Dollars ($103,678.00), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The total sum of One Million Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow
Regulation System Baden and Mill Creek Pump Stations Electrical
Gear Replacement System (B-014A, 94089A), in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Power
Distribution Services, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation
System Baden and Mill Creek Pump Stations Electrical Gear
Replacement (BP-014A, 94089A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1995.
