AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of Five Hundred
Twenty-four Thousand Dollars ($524,000.00), to be funded as
follows: Two Hundred Seventy-four Thousand Dollars ($274,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of University City, and Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($250,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund, for engineering
services for the final design of Archer-Braddock-Coolidge-Grant
Storm Channel-UR-06 Upper River des Peres Sanitary Relief Phase I
(91000); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Contract E-830 with Booker Associates, Inc. for the
aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The total sum of Five Hundred Twenty-four
Thousand Dollars ($524,000.00), to be funded as follows: Two
Hundred Seventy-four Thousand Dollars ($274,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
University City and Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($250,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund is hereby
appropriated for engineering services for the final design of
Archer-Braddock-Coolidge-Grant Storm Channel-UR-06 Upper River des
Peres Sanitary Relief Phase I (91000).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-830 with Booker
Associates, Inc. for engineering services for the final design of
Archer-Braddock-Coolidge-Grant Storm Channel-UR-06 Upper River des
Peres Sanitary Relief Phase I (91000); said contract to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1995.
