AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of Six Hundred Eighty
Thousand Dollars ($680,000.00), to be funded as follows: Four
Hundred Seventy-seven Thousand Nine Hundred Thirteen Dollars
($477,913.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Mississippi River, and Two Hundred Two Thousand
Eighty-seven Dollars ($202,087.00) form the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek for engineering
services for the final design of GC-12 - GC-13 Sanitary Relief and
St. George Creek Storm Channel (89144); and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-831
with Volz Incorporated for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an uncumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay
the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The total sum of Six Hundred Eighty
Thousand Dollars ($680,000.00) to be funded as follows: Four
Hundred Seventy-seven Thousand Nine Hundred Thirteen Dollars
($477,913.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Mississippi River, and Two Hundred Two Thousand
Eighty-seven Dollars ($202,087.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek is hereby
appropriated for engineering services for the final design of GC-12
- GC-13 Sanitary Relief and St. George Creek Storm Channel (89144).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-831 with Volz
Incorporated for engineering services for the final design of GC-12
- GC-13 Sanitary Relief and St. George Storm Channel (89144); said
contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1995.
