HomeMy Public PortalAbout09677 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9677 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) from the Emergency Fund for emergency repairs in Emergency Repairs #032 (Elliott Ave. at Dodier Ave.) (96016), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into contracts with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the aforesaid emergency repairs, and with Geotechnology, Inc. for geotechnical services related to said emergency repairs. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Emergency Fund for emergency repairs in Emergency Repairs #032 (Elliott Ave. at Dodier Ave.) (96016), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for emergency repairs in Emergency Repairs #032 (Elliott Ave. at Dodier Ave.) (96016), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Geotechnology, Inc. for geotechnical services related to Emergency Repairs #032 (Elliott Ave. at Dodier Ave.) (96016), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Four. The contracts authorized in Section Two and Section Three of this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Five. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 1995.
