AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-one Thousand Six
Hundred Fifty-eight Dollars ($21,658.00) from the Improvement Fund
to pay the State of Missouri's share of the total costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Tiffin Avenue Storm Sewer Project
(P-20053), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project was undertaken by the City of
Ferguson, Missouri at an estimated total cost of Sixty-four
Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-six Dollars ($64,976.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty-one Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-eight Dollars ($21,658.00)
toward the total costs of said project, and will deposit said
amount with the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-one Thousand Six Hundred
Fifty-eight Dollars ($21,658.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Improvement Fund to pay the State of Missouri's share of the total
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Tiffin Avenue Storm
Sewer Project (P-20053), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 1995.
