AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Million Four Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($5,400,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay
Service Area ORS Lower River des Peres Sewer Rehabilitation -
Lining of Sewers with Cured-in-Place Pipe (L-03C, 93038C), in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri,
Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid contract.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Lower River
des Peres Sewer Rehabilitation is Five Million Twenty-nine Thousand
Four Hundred Twenty-two Dollars ($5,029,422.00) and the cost of
special insurance and allowance for change orders is Three Hundred
Seventy Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-eight Dollars ($370,578.00),
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Million Four Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($5,400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Lower River des Peres
Sewer Rehabilitation - Lining of Sewers with Cured-in-Place Pipe
(L-03C, 93038C), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform
Missouri, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Lower River des Peres
Sewer Rehabilitation - Lining of Sewers with Cured-in-Place Pipe
(L-03C, 93038C), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 5th day of September, 1995.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 1995.
