AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for additional engineering services for the preparation of the
Coldwater Wastewater Treatment Plant Lagoons Biosolids Management
Plan; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-818 with Black & Veatch
for the aforesaid additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, the estimated fee for the services is Seventy-
four Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Dollars ($74,770.00) and the
allowance for changes in scope is Five Thousand Two Hundred Thirty
Dollars ($5,230.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient
to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty Thousand Dollars
($80,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for additional engineering services for the preparation of the
Coldwater Wastewater Treatment Plant Lagoons Biosolids Management
Plan.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-
818 with Black & Veatch for additional engineering services for the
preparation of the Coldwater Wastewater Treatment Plant Lagoons
Biosolids Management Plan; said amendment to be comprised of such
terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 1995.
