AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One
Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00) from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund for preparation of Emissions Inventory
and Odor Control Studies at the Missouri River and Grand Glaize
Treatment Plants; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 4 to Contract E-775 with
Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the estimated fee for the services is One
Hundred Sixty-six Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Dollars
($166,470.00) and the allowance for changes in scope is Eight
Thousand Five Hundred Thirty Dollars ($8,530.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient
to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-five
Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund for preparation of Emissions Inventory
and Odor Control Studies at the Missouri River and Grand Glaize
Treatment Plants.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 4 to Contract E-
775 with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for preparation of Emissions
Inventory and Odor Control Studies at the Missouri River and Grand
Glaize Treatment Plants; said amendment to be comprised of such
terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 1995.
