HomeMy Public PortalAbout09716 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9716 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty-two Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($152,150.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for the construction of storm sewers in Fannie Avenue - St. Louis County Storm Sewer Phase I (95053), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is One Hundred Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred Three Dollars ($118,803.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Thirty-three Thousand Three Hundred Forty-seven Dollars ($33,347.00), and WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to a Federal Grant, has agreed to reimburse the District for the total costs of said storm sewer construction, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty-two Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($152,150.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for the construction of storm sewers in Fannie Avenue - St. Louis County Storm Sewer Phase I (95053), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Fannie Avenue - St. Louis County Storm Sewer Phase I (95053), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 29th day of September, 1995. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 1995.
