AN ORDINANCE, appointing Sedgwick James of Missouri,
Inc., the insurance broker of record for The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District for a period of three (3) years, effective January
1, 1996; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District to enter into a contract or
contracts with Sedgwick James of Missouri, Inc. whereby Sedgwick
James of Missouri, Inc. will serve as the District's broker of
record and provide other services for the District's insurance
program.
WHEREAS, the staff has received and evaluated proposals
from insurance brokerage firms to act as the District's broker of
record and to provide other services for the District's insurance
program, and
WHEREAS, based on the Request for Proposal Process, the
staff has recommended the selection of Sedgwick James of Missouri,
Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Sedgwick James of Missouri, Inc. is hereby
appointed the insurance broker of record for The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District for a period of three (3) years, effective
January 1, 1996; and the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized on behalf of the District to enter into a
contract or contracts with Sedgwick James of Missouri, Inc. whereby
Sedgwick James of Missouri, Inc. will provide brokerage and other
related services for the District's insurance program.
Section Two. The contracts authorized in Section One of
this Ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the office of the General Counsel.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 1995.
