HomeMy Public PortalAbout09726 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9726 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Eight Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($1,820,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Lemay Maintenance Facility (L-11, 95043), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Kozeny-Wagner, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid facility. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Lemay Maintenance Facility is One Million Six Hundred Fifty-nine Thousand Dollars ($1,659,000.00), and the cost of utility relocations and allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred Sixty-one Thousand Dollars ($161,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($1,820,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Lemay Maintenance Facility (L-11, 95043), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Kozeny-Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Lemay Maintenance Facility (L-11, 95043), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of September, 1995. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 1995.
