HomeMy Public PortalAbout09729 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9729 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for the design of the Repair and Replacement of Sewer Systems in City Parks (95060); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-825 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for the aforesaid services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9633, adopted August 10, 1995, provided the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-825, and WHEREAS, the estimated fee for said additional engineering services is One Hundred Twenty Thousand One Hundred Thirty Dollars ($120,130.00) and the allowance for changes in scope is Nine Thousand Eighty Hundred Seventy Dollars ($9,870.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for the design of the Repair and Replacement of Sewer Systems in City Parks (95060). Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E- 825 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for additional engineering services for the design of the Repair and Replacement of Sewer Systems in City Parks (95060); said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 1995.
