O R D I N A N C E NO. 9757
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Ninety-five
Thousand Dollars ($295,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Juniper
Court-Tesson Ferry Storm Sewer (94012), in the City of Green Park,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Concrete Design, Inc. for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Two Hundred Seventy-nine Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-
nine and 14/100 Dollars ($279,899.14), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Fifteen Thousand One Hundred and
86/100 Dollars ($15,100.86), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) toward the costs of said project;
upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ninety-five Thousand
Dollars ($295,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Juniper Court-Tesson Ferry Storm Sewer (94012), in the City of
Green Park, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Concrete Design,
Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm
sewers in Juniper Court-Tesson Ferry Storm Sewer (94012), in the
City of Green Park, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened
on the 8th day of November, 1995.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 1995.
