AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($550,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used
for project costs for the Cleaning and Inspection of Sewers and
Inlets in Forest Park (95060C), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the aforesaid contract.
WHEREAS, the bid for the Cleaning and Inspection of
Sewers and Inlets is Four Hundred Ninety-nine Thousand Four Hundred
Ninety Dollars ($499,490.00) and the allowance for change orders is
Fifty Thousand Five Hundred Ten Dollars ($50,510.00), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($550,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the Cleaning and
Inspection of Sewers and Inlets in Forest Park (95060C), in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform
Missouri, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the Cleaning
and Inspection of Sewers and Inlets in Forest Park (95060C), in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened
on the 13th day of December, 1995.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 1996.
