AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Forty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($447,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary
sewers in Southern Gasconade Sewer Rehabilitation (89192), in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Infrastructure
Services, Inc. for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid sanitary sewers is
Four Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-six and
72/100 Dollars ($425,426.72), and the allowance for construction
change orders is Twenty-one Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-three and
28/100 Dollars ($21,573.28), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Forty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($447,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Southern Gasconade Sewer
Rehabilitation (89192), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.

Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Infrastructure
Services, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Southern Gasconade Sewer
Rehabilitation (89192), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, within
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 6th day of December, 1995.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
