HomeMy Public PortalAbout09800 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9800 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Landscaping Improvements, Native Grass & Wildflower Seeding and Planting (BP-13C4, 96033) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Joseph H. Keeven Sod Farm, Inc. for the aforesaid project. WHEREAS, the bid for said project is Seventy-nine Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($79,465.00), and the allowance for the purchase of seed and change orders is Ten Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-five Dollars ($10,535.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Landscaping Improvements, Native Grass & Wildflower Seeding and Planting (BP-13C4, 96033) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Joseph H. Keeven Sod Farm, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of Landscaping Improvements, Native Grass & Wildflower Seeding and Planting (BP-13C4, 96033) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 10th day of January, 1996. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 15, 1996.
