AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($520,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
procurement of Pad-Mounted Switches (L-02F1, 93039F1) for the Lemay Service Area
Overflow Regulation System Pump Station and Gate Modifications, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with G & W Electric Co. for the
furnishing of the aforesaid equipment.
WHEREAS, the bid for the furnishing of Pad-Mounted Switches is Four Hundred
Ninety-five Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-seven Dollars ($495,657.00), and the allowance for
change orders is Twenty-four Thousand Three Hundred Forty-three Dollars ($24,343.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($520,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the procurement of Pad-Mounted Switches (L-02F1, 93039F1) for the Lemay
Service Area Overflow Regulation System Pump Station and Gate Modifications, in the City of
St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
G. & W Electric Co. as the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of Pad-Mounted
Switches (L-02F1, 93039F1) for the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Pump
Station and Gate Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 10th day of January, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
