AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifty-five Thousand Dollars
($255,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for professional engineering services to
design cake dewatering improvements at the Grand Glaize Treatment Plant; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-841 with Consoer Townsend Envirodyne
Engineers, Inc. for the aforesaid professional engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty-five Thousand Dollars
($255,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for professional
engineering services to design cake dewatering improvements at the Grand Glaize Treatment
Plant.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
1 to Contract E-841 with Consoer Townsend Envirodyne Engineers, Inc. for professional
engineering services to design cake dewatering improvements at the Grand Glaize Treatment
Plant; said amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 14, 1996.
