HomeMy Public PortalAbout09821 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9821 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-three Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($73,100.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Watkins Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Monticello-Muriel Sewer Rehabilitation (89181), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid sanitary sewers is Sixty-nine Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-two Dollars ($69,222.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-eight Dollars ($3,478.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seventy-three Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($73,100.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Watkins Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Monticello-Muriel Sewer Rehabilitation (89181), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Monticello-Muriel Sewer Rehabilitation (89181), in St. Louis County, Missouri, within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 12th day of January, 1996. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 14, 1996.
