AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-four Thousand Dollars ($94,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of
sanitary sewers in Glenchort-Salzman Relief Phase II (94011), in the City of Wellston,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Concrete Design, Inc. for the
aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid sanitary sewers is Eighty-nine Thousand
Four Hundred Ninety-seven and 27/100 Dollars ($89,497.27), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Four Thousand Five Hundred Two and 73/100 Dollars
($4,502.73), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety-four Thousand Dollars ($94,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Glenchort-Salzman Relief Phase II (94011), in the City of
Wellston, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Concrete Design, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Glenchort-Salzman Relief Phase II (94011), in the City of Wellston, Missouri, within The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 2nd day of
February, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
