AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 9675, as adopted September 14,
1995, by repealing Section Six, and enacting a new Section Six in lieu thereof, specifying sick
leave compensation upon an employee's retirement from the District, or death after having
satisfied retirement requirements.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN
ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Section Six of Ordinance No. 9675, as adopted September 14,
1995, is hereby repealed.
Section Two. A new Section Six of Ordinance No. 9675 is hereby enacted,
and shall read as follows:
"Section Six. An employee leaving District service because of
Early, Alternate, Normal Retirement, or by reason of death after
satisfying either Early, Alternate, or Normal Retirement
requirements, who has unused accrued sick leave remaining, will
be compensated for that portion of such accrued sick leave which
is equal to 1-1/4% for each year of District service from the
employee's most recent original appointment date."
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 14, 1996.
