AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars
($580,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
procurement of Adjustable Frequency Drives (L-08B, 95042B) for the Lemay Service Area
Overflow Regulation System Lemay Pump Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Robicon for the furnishing of
the aforesaid equipment.
WHEREAS, the bid for the furnishing of Adjustable Frequency Drives is Five
Hundred Forty-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-nine Dollars ($549,989.00), and the
allowance for change orders is Thirty Thousand Eleven Dollars ($30,011.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars
($580,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the procurement of Adjustable Frequency Drives (L-08B, 95042B) for the
Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Lemay Pump Station Modifications, in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Robicon as the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of Adjustable Frequency Drives (L-
08B, 95042B) for the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Lemay Pump Station
Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 5th day of March 1996. Section
Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon
its enactment.
