AN ORDINANCE, appropriating the total sum of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand
Dollars ($280,000.00) to be funded as follows: One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($150,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and One Hundred Thirty Thousand
Dollars ($130,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for
project costs for the procurement of Major Electrical Equipment (L-08C/BP-014C,
95042C/94089C) for the Lemay and Bissell Service Areas Overflow Regulation System
Pump Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with ECC Supply Company for the furnishing of the aforesaid equipment.
WHEREAS, the bid for the furnishing of Major Electrical Equipment is Two
Hundred Sixty-one Thousand One Hundred Forty-three Dollars ($261,143.00), and the
allowance for change orders is Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-seven Dollars
($18,857.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The total sum of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars
($280,000.00) is to be funded as follows: One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($150,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and One Hundred Thirty Thousand
Dollars ($130,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund, is hereby
appropriated to be used for project costs for the procurement of Major Electrical Equipment
(L-08C/BP-014C, 95042C/94089C) for the Lemay and Bissell Service Areas Overflow
Regulation System Pump Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
ECC Supply Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of Major Electrical
Equipment (L-08C/BP-014C, 95042C/94089C) for the Lemay and Bissell Service Areas

Overflow Regulation System Pump Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 12th
day of March, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 18, 1996.
