AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,300,000.00) from the Emergency Fund for emergency repairs in Emergency Repair
#034 (Prairie Avenue Sewer-20th Street to West Florissant Avenue) 96075, in the City
of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform
Missouri, Inc. for the aforesaid emergency repairs.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized
herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Emergency Fund for emergency repairs
in Emergency Repair #034 (Prairie Avenue Sewer-20th Street to West Florissant Avenue)
96075, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract
with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for emergency repairs in Emergency Repair #034 (Prairie
Avenue Sewer-20th Street to West Florissant Avenue) 96075, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 18, 1996.
