AN ORDINANCE, vacating any right, title or interest of the District in a portion
of a twenty foot (20') wide roadway for public use between Blocks 1 and 2 of Parker Place, a
subdivision recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 67 of the St. Louis County Records, and in the City
of Webster Groves, St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested this District to
vacate any right, title or interest that it may have in the subject roadway, and this District has
no further use for said portion of roadway,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District hereby vacates any
right, title or interest that it may have in the following described roadway:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Block 2 of Parker Place, a subdivision
recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 67 of the St. Louis County Records, and in the
City of Webster Groves, St. Louis County, Missouri, at the intersection of the
westerly line of St. John Avenue, 40 feet wide, with the southerly line of said
Putnam Street; thence along the southerly line of said Putnam Street, westerly
98 feet 11 inches (98.92 feet) to the northwesterly corner of said Block 2;
thence along the northerly prolongation of the westerly line of said Block 2,
northerly 20.10 feet to the northerly line of said Putnam Street, and said
northerly line being also the southerly line of said Block 1; thence along the
northerly line of said Putnam Street, easterly 97.37 feet to the westerly line of
said St. John Avenue; thence along said westerly line, southerly 20.31 feet to
the point of beginning, and containing 1,963 square feet, more or less, or
0.045 acres, more or less, according to calculations executed for Survey No.
138327 executed by James Engineering & Surveying Co., Inc, in January,
1996.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 18, 1996.
