AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars
($640,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System
Miscellaneous Sewer Rehabilitation Dakota Sewer (BP-015D, 94090D), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with C. Rallo Contracting
Co., Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid contract.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Dakota Sewer is Six Hundred
Nine Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-nine Dollars ($609,329.00) and the allowance for
change orders is Thirty Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-one Dollars ($30,671.00), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the
appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($640,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for
project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System
Miscellaneous Sewer Rehabilitation Dakota Sewer (BP-015D, 94090D), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
C. Rallo Contracting Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the
Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Sewer Rehabilitation
Dakota Sewer (BP-015D, 94090D), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 26th day of March, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 9, 1996.
